About Michael Statman

Mike Statman has been working with personal computers and with networking since the mid-1980s.  He was previously the Owner and Principal at Computer Sales, Inc of Chantilly, Virginia (trading as Network Resources) until 2005.  During that time he worked directly with many satisfied clients, including

Mike's formal education includes an undergraduate degree in Systems Analysis and an MBA.  He has achieved several industry certifications, including CTIA A+, hp/Compaq Accredited System Engineer (ASE) and  Accredited Integration Specialist (AIS), and Novell Certified Novell Engineer (CNE) and SuSE Certified Linux Professional (CLP).

Mike has a strong track record of providing expert consulting on the design, implementation and maintenance of multi-server and multi-vendor LAN and WAN environments. Projects have included hardware specification and configuration; operating system (primarily NetWare and Linux) installation and configuration; eDirectory Services design and implementation; TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP design, maintenance and troubleshooting, etc. He has extensive experience with most core Novell products, including but not limited to NetWare 2.0 through 6.5 and Open Enterprise Server (OES), GroupWise, SuSE Linux, iFolder, ZENWorks, eDirectory, Cluster Services, and has experience with the installation, configuration and maintainence of additional products from Cisco, VMware, Nagios, etc.
